Susanna Stranders studied at Exeter University and GSMD, where she won many accompanist prizes. As opera coach at the College-Conservatory of Music, Cincinnati, she was supported by the Henry Richardson Award 2000-2. She was rèpètiteur for Cincinnati Opera, San Francisco Opera's Merola Programme and was a member of the Houston Grand Opera Studio, Texas.
Susanna was a rèpètiteur on the Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden between 2004-2006. She has since worked regularly for the ROH, for the Glyndebourne Festival and Tour, Opera Grange Park, the Blackheath Halls, the Philharmonia orchestra, and the Festspiele and Landestheater, Salzburg, as well as accompanying many international singers and instrumentalists in recital. Susanna has broadcast live for the BBC on both television and radio.
Currently a Senior Opera Coach at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, a guest coach at the Royal Academy of Music, the National Opera Studio and for the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme, Susanna is also official pianist for the National Youth Chamber Orchestra of Great Britain and is Music Director for Opera a la Carte.
